What is the difference between an ALR farm and a home with acreage in Delta?

An ALR farm is agricultural land intended for crop or livestock use and it is regulated by provincial ALR rules plus City of Delta bylaws. A home with acreage is a rural residence on land that may be outside the ALR and more residential in use. Always confirm permitted uses with the City of Delta before you write an offer.

What should I check for drainage, dikes and floodplain in Delta?
